Camp Resources XIX
August 6-7, 2012
Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina
We are pleased to announce this year’s Camp Resources will return to the Blockade-Runner Hotel in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.
This year’s highlights include a learning tutorial on Bayesian Econometrics by Justin Tobias, Professor and University Faculty Scholar, Purdue University. Justin is at the forefront of developing Bayesian microeconometric methods and we look forward to learning how these tools can be applied to environmental, health and labor problems.
Our featured professional mentors this year are Sheila Olmstead, Fellow, Resources for the Future and Randall Walsh, Associate Professor, University of Pittsburgh. Both Sheila and Randy will provide feedback to presenters and present an overview of ongoing research interests.
In addition to the above featured attendees, Camp Resources enjoys the support from the outstanding community of environmental and resource economists at NC State, Duke, RTI International, and throughout North Carolina and the Southeast who regularly attend the workshop.
Camp Resources Schedule
The complete schedule may be found here. Camp Resources is a workshop designed for graduate students and young professionals to present their research in a relaxed but serious environment. This year’s Camp Resources includes 15 contributed paper presentations as well as 11 short research sketches.
Below you will find links to the presentations and papers (when available) for each of the sessions and proceedings.
