Energy Storage Study Receives 2019 Sustainability Award

NC State’s Sustainability Awards were recently announced during the Celebration of NC State Sustainability. Harrison Fell, associate professor in agricultural and resource economics and CEnREP interim director, as well as Christopher Galik, associate professor of public policy and CEnREP affilate, along with a team of interdisciplinary researchers at NC State that evaluated potential for energy storage in North Carolina.

The departments of agricultural and resource economics, public administration, electrical engineering, civil engineering, and NC Clean Technology Center were part of the project team. The aim of the completed report is to guide the NC General Assembly as it develops storage-related energy policies for the state. Read more about the awards here.
