CEnREP affiliate named 2019-2020 Duke-RTI Scholar
Justin Baker (RTI and NCSU) was recently named a 2019-2020 Duke-RTI Scholar. Under this program, Dr. Baker will spend half his time over the next year at the Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy to strengthen collaborations around development challenges in energy and water. Dr. Baker will work with Duke’s Energy Access Project and the Sustainable Energy Transitions Initiative to develop multi-sector approaches to address energy access issues, including coupled geospatial and economic frameworks to evaluate off-grid electricity sector investment alternatives and policy incentive structures. Dr. Baker will also collaborate on research and systems modeling to address the food-energy-water (FEW) nexus, building on existing impact evaluations and sector-specific analyses led by Duke and RTI researchers.
