On October 23, 2025, Professor and CEnREP Director Spencer Banzhaf delivered a keynote address at East Carolina University’s annual Economics Symposium. This interdisciplinary event introduces economic ideas to the wider university community. His lecture, “The Nature of Economics and the Economics of Nature,” was attended by over 100 ECU students and faculty, from economics, history, biology and environmental studies.
