Originally from South Korea, Dr. Lee joined the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at North Carolina State University in August 2025 as an assistant professor. Prior to this appointment, he was an assistant professor at Montana State University. His research interests are in agricultural, environmental and resource economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis, an M.S. in Management Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and a B.S. in Economics from the Australian National University.
