Forestry and Environmental Resources
Tugba Ozer-Kaya is a Ph.D. candidate in Forestry and Environmental Resources at NC State University minoring in economics. She earned her master’s degree in economics from NC State University. Her current research focuses on estimating changes in land use in the U.S. She works on discrete choice modelling using county level data. Tugba’s research interests also include forest economics, environmental economics, natural resource economics and policy evaluation. Upon graduation, she hopes to works as a research economist either for the private or government sector.
