Lee Parton is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at NC State University. His current research focuses on measuring, and understanding, the effects of environmental regulation and land use policy. Currently Lee is working on several projects including measuring the heterogeneous impacts of public infrastructure, analyzing the distributional effects of random violence in communities and measuring producer responses to climate change policy uncertainty. Lee is also working on a discrete choice experiment valuing offshore wind farms and a project involving the measurement of inter-industry technology spillovers caused by environmental mandates and regulation.
